Good morning, Jim,
Nova Scotia is beautiful at any time of the day or night. Love the sunset pic where it looks like the woods are afire. Hmmm..Brings back memories..
See a few familiar faces in some of the pics...Looking forward to visiting Jeddore soon.

My family and I used to vacation at Island View Cottages owned and run by Mr & Mrs Ralph Baker...the sweetest people you would ever want to meet. Became good friends with Charlie Baker who was a fisherman. Had great times with Tim Baker and his friends when we were kids. Great memories were Mr. Baker's little store where ice cream and pop were popular; Mrs. Baker's homemade bread that was still hot when delivered, the sound of Charlie's boat "putt putting" in the cove, and all of the simple memories that made childhood memorable. Thank you for such a beautiful place...looking forward to revisiting...

I was born and raised here. Loved it so much that I built a house and decided to raise my children on the same shores that I used to roam. As for the critique of the sun in your face photos...the response for that is the sun is always shining at you when you live in Jeddore. It is never behind your back when you look to the sea. You should have some pictures of the bottle house and some tourist type attractions to entice more visiters. Surf, sun and sand..whatta life.

Thanks for the reminders of "God's Country" as my Mom used to say. My Grandparents, Rev. A.L. and Mrs.Huddleston, had a green and white summer home on Cottage Cove Road in Head of Jeddore.I have many warm memories of visits each year as a young child.

For Janelle Bird...Do you have any other names other then George and Benjamin Baker? I am descended from East Jeddore Bakers. The line goes: Johann Bekker, Jacob John Bekker, Stephen Paul Baker, Wallace Simon Baker, Ezekiel James Baker, Ralph Wilson Baker who was my father. I have some loose ends and perhaps we can connect the dots...Thanks.Audrey
